Hi all. The blog is falling into a narrative/picture rhythm. I am reporting on our progress in the state titled narrative entries and filling in some color with the picture entries.
On Monday 4/23 we put up 289 miles on a day that it rained intermittently.
We woke up at George and Linda's and made ourselves a nice breakfast as our hosts had trundled off to work. We really enjoyed seeing them!
We drove to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA and had a fabulous walk around the conservatory and the gardens. They have recently added three treehouses that were fun to visit. We headed down to Delaware and tried to visit Winterthur but found that it was closed on Mondays. We then drove down to Charlottesville and had a romantic dinner in the common room at the Hampton Inn.
All is well on the Victory Tour.
