Wow! We are flying on Day One of our trip. We just crossed into Connecticut after starting on Badger's Island in Maine at 9AM this morning. At this rate we should be in California by Tuesday.
We left Manchester at 2PM on Saturday after Jayne's sister, Diane, came over and blessed the Chevy Tahoe with holy water. It has had an amazing impact in that we have been getting incredible gas mileage. The Tahoe seems to be floating on a celestial cloud. We are highly recommending ritual blessings of motor vehicles. Had a great time at the Weilbrenner wedding in Dover and then stayed with Jimmy and Linda at their place on the Portsmouth Harbor. Thanks to Linda and Jim for the hospitality and the great breakfast!
It is great to be on the road after all the planning. Headed for lunch with Jay Fischer in Fairfield, CT and dinner with George and Linda McDavid in Yardley, PA.
